I watched that petter solberg clip when it aired on speed, probably 3 years ago. There were some other good clips there too.

I find it incredible how easily that car changes direction on dirt in the Solberg video.

I'll bet you those cars didn't have 300 HP 20 years ago.

They also didn't have the added weight of a cage or safety equipment.

yep there is a reason that era is refered to as the Killer B era....since they had the most spectator and driver/codriver deaths in that 6 year period. I mean look at the throngs of people lining the road. I dont even know how they managed to drive through that....makes you appreciate crowd control. Clearly those drivers were super talented and perhaps didnt give a rats ass as to the idiots on the side of the road.

We're never worried, as crew we sign waivers so they'll usually let us do whatever we want to do. "Just stay near a tree were the words of wisdom I received.

Well remember that time last April where me and Jordan were standing near a house... yeah that didn't work too well.

Actually we were standing near two trees. The car just happened to go inbetween them.

you were not near those trees, near implies you could duck behind them if you needed to you were standing just in front of the steps to the house what you should have done was dive up on the porch.
