I am sure it possible to mount in a street car too, I think the heating ducts to the rear would have to be trimmed back or modified in some way. I don't mean to turn people off to trying putting them in street cars... I put the disclaimer there because I didnt want people thinking it was some sort of bolt in mod or something. It will definatly take some time to fit andsetup correctly, even in a race car. So anyway, go for it, but at your own risk!

Mike,
Heres the pics you wanted of the shifter installed so you can get an idea of where it will end up for clearance issues with other components..

Thanks Luke. So, is it mounted at or near the oem front mounts? We're trying to find the best place for the handbrake...I want it a little close than oem ...and sticking up a bit so I can grab it easier....or something.

Anyway.

Yeah, how is the co-driver supposed to have any fun if the handbrake is designed with the driver in mind?

In case anyone was wondering, production on the shifters began last night.

Below are the people that will get them:

Mike
Geoff
Squaab99t
Groo
Luke (hey, I need another for the new car)

Geoff did you hear anything from Jeff P?
I'll probably build one extra that will be up for grabs.

Not yet.. Get me a measurement from base to top of the shift handle and I'll see if he's interested. Is it 20" or is it about 20"? :-)
