I didn't think the shifter needed to be stock.

I still don't understand how it even does what it does. I guess all those words and directions and things like that just confused me. Plus if I can't fix it with the hammer or the grinder I don't want to see it.

I just meant that it looks like a neat thing, but for racing it looks like a nightmare...as in weight and complexity. Saab transmissions are already troublesome enough, now you'd have to worry about your shifter mechanism......keep it simple.

Yeah right now you just have to worry about broken shift knob/ no broken shift nob :lol:

Most teams have to "drive around a gear" if they break a transmission. Saab race teams learn to "drive around the transmission!" :P
