Determine where you want to put the line, choose your fitting, drill and tap. I believe the return hole was left off because everyone seems to have a different idea where they want it to go. Its quite easy to drill and tap or have a local garage do it if you don't have the tools.

i just hope my transmission holds out long enough for me to get this cover installed.

i am about to install an oil cooled T3 (no water cooling) just so that i can drive my car - i hope the rain turns to snow and i can go skiing!

man, the drive up the mountain is going to be fun.

Luke, did you happen to include a plug with the oil outlet? i do not have anything together as of yet for a transmission cooler setup.

:woohoo:

(nice new smilies btw)

The cover came in the mail this weekend and I was blown away with the quality of this piece. Thanks for putting this all together, I can't wait to get a pump for an oil cooler and get this thing installed.

Luke how are you keeping the plate flat? Welding only on one side has a chance for some warpage. I would think the gussets would add even more stress. Bottom line if the gasket takes care of the leak issue and does torque the trans all is good. Just a question. When I welded my 3 I bolted them to an old trans box.
