Do you have problems with the forums?

I need as many people to answer this poll as possible so I can tell startlogic that our problem exists over a wide range of machines, web browsers, and locations.

For what it's worth - my issue seems to be with threads that I have read, showing up as unread.

My problems started a couple of weeks ago....autolog in fails every time, the forum and all threads take forever to load if they load at all. Response windows take forever to load and post. :bawl:

forum loads very slowly as well, much slower than it ever did before.
windows xp, up to date
firefox 3.0
I also tried IE with similar results.

 No its not a problem with the cookies expiring... if you look at them they expire a year from when ever they are created. Since the same time generator to create the time as check the time it's not a wrong time thing either. If I had to guess I'd guess it was the request for the cookie to the server timing out...ergo voiding the session. I don't think anybody has changed any settings recently so it has only been happening since the server issues.

I think it's an sql issue, but it's not a webserver issue. The SQL server could bejust laggin wicked bad. Startlogic will have to fix it, the only sql tools we have are the ones that come with the webhost's control panel suite.

That is what I'm saying , however the gallery runs off the same SQL database (location) so if we have problems with that when we have problems with the forums, then we can blame SQL server in general. However if it is just still the forum we have problems with then it would be something with the forum software or something with the forum tables.

I checked the old board and it is running fine as well.. it is either a bug with this particular db table, or with the software itself.

One thing is that I have to log in each time even if I mark that I want to be logged in automatically every time I visit this page, this is not a big problem tough.
An other thing is that I was supposed to show a friend a really cool saab but almost all the pictures where gone , just some "boxes" with a red x in, This was a while ago so it maybe working now.
And one question why is it black dot´s at my topics ?
