I watched it all. It was amusing. What did you do to the VW that was squeezing you in the early laps,. did you put him in the wall? What gear are you in ? How many cars did you have in that race?

Re: circle track c900 vids
weak showing that race, maybe 15 cars.
that guy was giving me plenty of room! haha seriously, if you're on the outside and not touching the guy inside you, you're too far up....
using 3rd gear with a type 6 gearset in a later 5 speed for a 5.70 total ratio (at that track). car is all stock motor 2.1, LH with a turbo distributor to adjust timing and that's it. ive got it turning good and has enough power to take the built motor Honda's and vw's.

Re: circle track c900 vids
here is a good video from the end of last year. this is a better example of what we do. it's not in my car, and it's not a saab, but you will see a bit of my back bumper before I get dumped by a crx.
in car from my buddy joey's Honda accord. lee speedway, lee nh.

Hey, that looks like a great time! Seems like that 2.1 gets down the track pretty well!

Great video.....as much as we make fun of roundy round racing that really shows how loose the cars can be and gives a great perspective on speed and car proximity. Looks like fun.

Re: circle track c900 vids
it's really a great way to get into racing. comparably cost effective and there is events within an hour from me 3 days a week.
love my saabs but RWD cars are a lot of fun.

Fast forward 2 mins for RPMs above 2K
What are the three events/week within an hour from you?
Monadnock, Twin State (though I though I heard they were closing or making some kind of change), ? Cannan is closed/under renovations.
Mongo, there's a place over by you but I drove by a few weeks ago on a Friday night and they had cancelled because it had sprinkled. (sounds silly to those of us who utilize loose surfaces)

Re: circle track c900 vids
twin state speedway was bought out, now called Claremont speedway and doing pretty well. they run Friday nights. mondnock runs on Saturday. Hudson speedway (Hudson/Londonderry nh) races sundays.
if I want to go just a little farther lee speedway also races Friday nights but they don't have a weekly 4cyl division.
forgot, star speedway in epping has racing on Friday nights also. nh is still pretty strong in asphalt circle tracks.

Devil's Bowl, that's the one that was closed after it sprinkled. Looks paved on Ghoulghoul Maps.

Pretty sure it is really hard packed dirt..but I have never stopped and looking at it to see ....Oh Mr Google....looks like there is a 1/2 mile oval with asphalt surface and a 3/10 mile progressively banked clay oval.

Re: circle track c900 vids
latest from lee speedway. fast 3/8ths mile. clearly outclassed in the mini stock class with a stock motor, but pretty happy with my first time out after caging this car.
