Is that one of those cheap Russian fisheye lenses you find on ebay all the time or something?
Tent = looks familiar...

It's a fish eye adapter attached to my super sweet kit lens made from recycled soda can pop tabs.

Re: STPR 2009 Pics thread
Thanks for posting the pics Matt,
I'll add a few of my favorites from the event to this thread as well:
Setting up the tent thursday night:
I slept in the van, it was cold
Sam slept under the EZup and inflated his air mattress with the worst lubricated air pump ever made, I believe it was filled with sand and garnet stone.
Friday morning we woke up and started tending to the car, fixed a few little things and then registered and teched without issue.
Then we lined up for parc expose, there were lots of people:
Get your t-shirts!
Friday stages were rough by STPR standard and pretty different than the forest stages on saturday. The car did great.
We fixed some stuff at service, nothing major.
The shifter rod got bent, we think this actually happened during the roll last year but was not diagnosed until now, we fixed it temporarily with brute force and it worked fine.
We finished the day at the county fairgrounds with the super special stage, the crowds were awesome:
Friday night we fixed some stuff, mostly it resulted in cool pictures:
Saturday starts in downtown wellsboro, the whole town comes out for the event, its awesome:
Saturday was a long day and you get tired, this is my serious face
A car rolled in front of us and blocked the whole stage, once a couple people had arrived we were able to push it to the side and finished the stage (as a transit).
STPR is fast and hard on brakes, this is another teams backing plate, notice that backing plate got so hot that the piston forged an impression in it!
Action shots from saturday:
This apparently what the team does while we are out terrorizing the stages:
Team shot:
Oh yeah and we finished 1st in class and 2nd overall in 2wd, not too shabby!
