Mainly from the first spectator area where drivers were warned of the intersection being quite upsetting to the car's balance (and it was).

I know this event was a long time ago but I finnally just joined this forum....


Great pictures! I was also at this event with the GTI below (i was pit-crew):

Yes we were the team that barley got through inspection and then had issue's 50ft after starting the race :oops: . But it was our first race....and none of the team members know anything about VW's :lol: .

I spoke with you guys briefly while you were getting inspected.

LOL.....to be honest we (the team) are not entirely sure how we ended up with a GTI......

When I said "ya i'll pit for you" I assumed it would be a Subaru of some sort b/c that is 1 car all the team members know alot about. Through out our headaches of working on this GTI it was commented several times "why didn't you get a suabru [or a saab"-by me]" to Mikey.

*I see Sub.aru is a word that shouldn't be mentioned on this forum.
