Its good to see they chose a group of people who well describe the the typical ice racer with the typical choice of vehicle and studs.

I went and watched those guys a number of years ago when they were racing in north central MA. A lot of wheel to wheel bashing, driving in circles, boneheads yelling at you for looking at someone else's car.....

Someone on the NYT web team likes old Saabs: they've been using that shot plus one of a Sonett to advertise the contest since January.
