This week i baught a complete group a rally car MY87.
Its been standing inndors since 92 and it seem to be in good condition.
It has the big box/corsica, this is number 25 of 25
The engine is builded by Trollsped co Tommy Karlsson and the head is prepared by Bernt Eric Strøm
More information will come at the time i got the documentation on the car.

Cool car...looks like a good platform to start from. Hard to tell from the photos....but how good is the cage? I suspect you will have to start with a new one to do any serious racing. Looks like there are some good components in there though....is that one of the hardcore saab gearboxes?

I am not concerned about the cage, it is build by Rallyprodukter in sweden. This is a car built by the tavlingsavdeling or competion department at Saab. And the car has dobble up Welding points. The weight of it is 1105kg
The gearbox is the strongest evermade. 4speed with original differential. Its the last one they made It has the four primary chains and the gear ratio is 7:34 and it runs 115 kmh in first gear. top speed at 195kmh
I think its a good oject to start on. It has just runing in competion for 5 years.

I'm thinking engine oil pressure...
Did you look closely at the diff cover? The return is on the side of the crown blister.
IIRC Rob said that is what the Works cars used for cabin heat. That is hardcore.
