wow, I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable in the silly seat of one of those Toyota Starlets...

Great jump though! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj7r1EjDC1Y

And for Seth: Hayabusa power! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dykVG4Jja30

Charlie has a 70's colt he'd sell for less than $1000....would make a fun rwd rally cross car. its pretty solid...needs a little work but would be a fun car to play with.

looks like this one...which I believe is in fact Charlie's as well:

My mom had one of those, bought it brand new in 71. She said she paid 2300.00 out the door tax, tags, title. Hers rusted out within 5 years.

Someone should buy it and shoehorn a modern hemi into it

OH I WANT IT! I just wish I had the time to play with all these cool toys (Fiat Dino!).

Jason, I think an SRT-4 engine would be more appropriate :rock on: :usa:

It would fit anyway. Was that colt in a sealed chamber since the 70s? That has to be the first one I have seen since then.

Good point. Awesome Luke!

My friend in high school had a neighbor who had one of those Colts. He wanted to buy it but they ended up trading it in/selling it/junking it 6 months before he got his license. Such a shame.

I had emailed Charlie to see if he had time to visit with us all at the CB Rally-X. He sent me a message the day after saying he should have asked where it was. Turned out that he drove all over and around the resort in that yellow car pictured above looking for us but never went up the Sun Bowl Road. Oh well, at least it was a nice day for a ride in the colt.

That car looks very compact. I don't mean small, I mean it looks like the whole thing is squished together... maybe its the wheels :dunno:
