Re: New England Forest Rally 2011
We are the last car over this jump in the clip and we were the last car that got to run the stage hot. The Subaru that went in the woods here resulted in a red cross being accidently put out by a radio operator that forced the stage to close.

Re: New England Forest Rally 2011
There was some pretty good SAABRALLY.COM representation at the rally.
Not only were both Luke and Seth in one car:
But RallyHoMotorsports was there to represent 900s:
Other SAABRALLY goons included myself (in the Greasecar), Mr. Greasecar himself (yeah, he had a SAABRALLY login at one point) :
Pascal riding in another VW:
Stacy, Jordan, and Jason for a great crew.
There were also two guys in Subarus who have rallycrossed 900s before.
I like this shot of a VW with a missing right rear wheel:

Most commitment out of any car I've seen (in photos) at this corner:

Re: New England Forest Rally 2011
Props must definitely be given to Mike White and his RallyHo team for their contribution. Although they were out of contention for the second time at the rally, they mobbed our service area toting generators, powertools, and a welder and managed to rig up a temporary repair to the blown out right front upper ball joint. Without them, we may not have finished the Rally.
Next year, or at every Rally even, we should all band together and set up a combined service. The cross cooperation between teams is gelling nicely, but could improve greatly if we coordinated our service efforts from the start instead of trying to do it on the fly after someone is in trouble.

Re: New England Forest Rally 2011
I think we need to mess with our speed factors so we have one car at the start of the pack, one in the middle, and one at the end. That way when the first car leaves service the second is coming in, and then the third...
Not going to happen though.

Re: New England Forest Rally 2011
We could do alot more with less crew if that were to happen. Servicing one car at a time would make it easier to share resources.
