Ok we all know top gear is a great show and after having just watched the american episode per Luke recommendation (absolute riot) I watched this one:

They tried to launch a reliant robin into simulated orbit and glide it down...

Wait you only think TG is a great show after watching that one episode they shot in America? Dude you're missing out on a LOT of great car-related shit then... Those two episodes you just watched are just from this last season. I suggest you go back and watch the previous 5 years or so of TG episodes :p , such as:

-Turning a classic mini cooper into a rocket powered ski jumping car
-Using cars as gigantic lawn darts, and a caravan (camping trailer) as a target
-Building a convertible mini van
-Seeing how difficult it would be to destroy a Toyota Hylux pickup truck
-Making cars into boats
-Driving a Rolls Royce into a swimming pool
-Seeing how difficult it would be to pave a municipal road in 24 hours

etc.

Oh I have watched many many episodes of top gear, I just fealt the need to highlight that one and mentioned the american one as I hadnt seen it.
