Turns out that that's a feature available on my new camera. Called "Diorama" setting.

Oh cool, it turns out mine does too. It's called "Miniature Effect". It also has a feature called "Perspective Control" which accomplishes the perspective adjustment that Drew showed in the picture of the building.

Just took this as an example. I'll dig in and see if it has the perspective control.
What kind of camera do you have? (I suppose we could start a whole thread just on our cameras  )

Neat! I'll have to play with that feature on our camera.

We got a Nikon D3100 with the standard 18-55mm Vibration Reduction, Auto Focus lens. Also got a deal on the 55-200mm VR, AF lens when we bought it.

Very nice!
I picked up an Olympus E-PL2 over Christmas. It is the discontinued model so I got a good deal. It came w/ the 14-42 mm lens (28-84 35mm equiv.) and got a deal on a 40-150mm (80-300mm equiv.) when I bought the camera. I also picked up a Panasonic Lumix 14mm 1:2.5 pancake lens off ebay for my fast glass.
So far, I'm loving this thing! I may pick up a VF-2 viewfinder to make it more of a D-SLR.

Cool, John I have a micro four-thirds camera too! Panasonic GF-1 with the 20mm f1.7. Love it so much more than my DSLR. Dennis has the same camera.

I really wanted the Lumix 20mm f1.7. It's supposed to be THE lens. I just couldn't afford it. The 14mm f2.5 can be had for 1/2 the price.

I have an app for my droid called "Camera 360" that does simple tilt shift shots that come out pretty well. I am amazed by the photos that come out of a cell phone these days given the lens is about 2mm in diameter.

I have been using my cell camera exclusively for about a year now. It does pretty well.

Photoshop works too for a similar effect.
