[99Super]

Another year, a different car. I decided to start racing the SPG (I need to get a build thread going) since it is in a much slower class than my 99.
I've had a super busy spring at work so all I was able to do was wash the car and install a fire extinguisher.

My times were right where I expected at 1:50.617. Three seconds faster than my old 8VT 900 (on the SAME tires : ) and 3 seconds slower than Frankensaab.

Time to get to work on a new engine and trans since it still has the originals w/ 200K+ miles!

Nice road, looks like a few opportunities for nasty offs? Any incidents to report? There must have been 30 at the Pagoda event I just did.

It's a really fun road but a challenge due to the heavy crowning, loose sand and one very large bump. I wish it was longer!
There have been many offs over the years but this year only one slide off at the Sand Pit (the first big left-hander) with no damage and another near the finish that did some bodywork damage to "Bubbles", the Lola D Sports racer.
