Doing a little research on the Baja 96 and how to build one etc. Bruce turk sent me some info including this photo...really looks like a lot of fun :yay:

I have seen both of those actually. The 96 is just a body on a chassis...relatively easy to do..very hard to do and have it look decent. The videos of that one driving around are kind of dumb.

Research continues. This is a subaru 2wd transmission...straight cut gearsets and limited slip diffs are available. These boxes are reasonably strong for non turbo subies...but look at the simplicity in taking the thing apart :-O :thumbsup:
