Strangely fascinating, isn't it?
Jon should just put all his pictures from his 10 99s thread in here.

Looks to me like the road curves around in his favor. He could have found a great shortcut to shave some time. I used to be a ski racer and it's stunts like that that won races. Albeit, it was also stunts like that that ended careers.

Reminds me of one of the best rally "saves" of all time.

Somebody just posted this on Saabnet. It's a music video consisting of 2 burning c900s.

And it seems Vampire Weekend spent this weekend with revered character actor Steve Buscemi to take part in this year’s New York City Easter Parade.
Buscemi and the band marched in the parade bearing a colorful Easter-themed banner, handing out chocolate Easter eggs to the crowd, according to Pitchfork. The Boardwalk Empire star even used a bullhorn for an impromptu rendition of the band’s most recent single, “Diane Young.”
Vampire Weekend also took to their Instagram account to post a picture of Buscemi holding up a copy of the New York Post’s feature story regarding the band’s recent controversy regarding the burning of two Saab 900 series cars for the “Diane Young” lyric video, much to the chagrin of enthusiasts of the new-defunct automaker.

I don't feel as bad about that convertible as this guy probably feels about his ride...

Yeah, I saw that over on GRM. Makes me sick to my stomach- I've always felt the Miura was one of the most beautiful cars made.

Dang. My dad's cousin used to have a brown Miura. I never realized it was so rare. I used to play in it with my sister when we were little kids.

So I went to the local scrap yard to cash in on some metal that I have been gathering. I was standing in line to get it weighed and zoning out watching the giant metal lobster claw picking up and moving/crushing a pile of metal pipes. Suddenly a car caught my eye... it was the only car in the pile with the pipes and I recognized the window trim. As the lobster claw lifted it off the ground, I saw that I was right... it was a mid-'80s Saab 900 4-door with everything still on it. I wanted to run and stop the lobster claw, but it was too late. I had day-mares the rest of the day about the lobster claw coming for my SPG. Didn't get any pictures.

This one made me almost puke when I first found it-though I can't deny a strange fascination drawing me to keep looking. Can't imagine anyone living through it. Or wanting to knowing what just happened to their '91 Monte Carlo Yellow SE. Still, I had to tell myself that it must have just been left in neutral and rolled off a building or something.
