The video is/ as if someone had one to many to drink. So, please bear with it.

Really I couldn't find a good place to mount it. So, I put it on the tripod on the back and closed the lid on it. I should have spread out the tripod legs.

Sounds like you need to bump up the pipe diameter a bit....based on the rush of air you can hear when the turbo really gets into it.

Is that what the extra noise is. I thought all along it was the air/fuel by passing the exhaust valves and just going into the pipe. But, it's actually the pipe not flowing enough. Huh!!

Well, that's good to know. Thanks for the info.

I've been wanting to go to a bigger pipe (3") from turbo to rear axle but money is tight. I've been saving for the diff and my partner and I are looking at buying a house.

So, Any really cheap sources for Mandrel bent pipe. Stainless or Aluminzed steel. Oh, and a high flow racing cat? I already have a recycled Honda rear muffler. The thing is huge. LOL

Jordan, My car may sound angry, but if treated right is as gentle as a pussy cat. Well, maybe not that gentle. :D

And the video of the 99 sounds great. I wish I could find a way to mount my camera in the car. No roll bar.

Also, would be nice to find one of those screen read outs. Speed, RPM, and boost would be awesome on the video.

I have the wastegate spring preload all taken up. Basic boost is 13lbs, APC boost is between 22-28lbs.

Maybe I should add a secondary spring?

You might talk to John Wirt...I think he is 99Super on here. He had a similar problem on his 99 turbo that he hill climbs. He had the local muffler shop make up a slightly bigger system that he said made a big difference.
