Does anyone know what the deal is with this car? Note the strange badges. I cant quite make it out but it says something like "Turbo BY Aero----" I cant make out the rest.
Never seen that be before.

The grille emblems look pretty normal but the Aero stuff on the hood sides is odd.

Re: Strange 99 Turbo
Looks like a normal 99 turbo to me. There were so many odd badges stuck on these cars over the years that it really could be anything. It might be some dealer installed airdam kit, a one off trim packaged, or it may have water injection or some other oddball tuner kit installed. It looks like a second badge stuck on after the turbo so its not like it was a Stock Saab badge.

Looks like it says turbo by Aerodyne.
Pretty sure Aerodyne was a performance turbo rebuilder, not sure if they are still in business.
Most likely someone sent their turbo in for a rebuild and when it came back it had some logos in the box....

The air dam is the one that JC Whitney used to sell. Looks like they cut the vent holes in it for the battery and oil cooler
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off
