sonett II vintage sales info

Postby Crazyswede » Wed Feb 20, 2013 11:14 am

a neighbor to my parents dropped this information off a number of years ago and I forgot I had it. It includes the pictured letter, 2 Sonett II info brochures, and a 6"x9" b&w image of a new Sonett II parked scenically.

That's pretty cool, that must have been about the time those cars were going into production.

Production commenced at ASJ in late 1966 with a total of 28 Sonett IIs, three of which were pre-production models, being manufactured practically by hand.

Bruce says they built 28 cars in 1966 and 230 in 1967 and then they went to the V4 Sonett II's

Yeah, he just finished restoring a '66. The original build quality is ummm... interesting.
