That's an interesting way of putting dual-round headlamps into a non-US spec car.

Not the auxiliary lights but the dual round main headlights. Looks like custom made bezels/headlight surrounds or the whole grille (with the exception of the silver triangle/oval) looks custom/taken off another car. It isn't tall enough to fit the center of the grille and the surrounds around the headlights look like they have some kind of trim ring.

Re: just sharing..rally pic
I thought about doing a pair of round Hi/Lo singles outboard, and intake funnels inboard. Keep the intakes the stock size, but use the larger lights. Reworking the sheet metal at the hood edge to fit them.
But I'll probably change my mind 5 times til I actually build the car.

Most of the early designs for the 99 included single round headlamps. Mongo converted his old '75 to accept larger (7"?) single headlamps. They fit without having to modify the hood.

Re: just sharing..rally pic
The 7 inch lights I put it were for a VW. They worked great from a light output end and looked pretty cool but you really need like a 6.5" light to have a chance at a good fit. I had to be very creative with how I mounted them and though I didn't have to mod the hood I did have to cut the radiator cross member. I do like how 99's look with just 1 large outer round headlight. I got the idea from someone in Sweden who had done it and I had assumed that at one point in time they had come with them...but it was not so

Luke's red 99 has single round lights, and intakes similar to what I want to do, but they are not oversized.
I believe that is just as simple as buying the 5 3/4 Hi/Lo and rewiring a little.
These are pretty cool too... http://www.rallylights.com/all/lights/h ... dlamp.html
Or you could shoehorn these into the grille! http://www.rallylights.com/all/lights/d ... -lamp.html

he had single round lights but he really had the stock 4 round lights with the inners removed. I had seen a photo of a 99 with just single round lights and they were bigger than the stock ones. I'll see if i can find it.
