Re: March of Nines - Western Washington
Bummed I was not able to make it. Wife wanted running water and sewer for guests coming over tonight.
Nice variety of Saab some old and some "new". That Lime green 900 still does not look right to me, but is does look pretty good in person. Both you and he have put a lot of work into your cars. I guess we all have at some point.
Any more pixs of the drive. Looks like about a dozen made it.

That's right, I think we had 13 cars total, but not for the entire trip. I heard when James got your call while we were at the line up for the ferry. Sorry you missed it, but sewer pipes (in your recycle bin!) definitely take priority. I don't think anyone anticipated the volume of festival goers at Poulsbo, so we didn't make it to our 3rd stop. A few got lost, so we spent sometime in various parking lots looking at each other's cars while we waited for others to catch up. Just as we were about to go to Alki (from Port Orchard) my car wouldn't start. I suggested that everyone go on, but they all stayed until we got it running. Very nice of them to do that.
The lime green car is a love it or hate it. To me it looks really unique and definitely stands out.

I'm in the process of cleaning it up and polishing it.

Believe it or not that is the supply line. 1/2" galvy. 54 years old, it gets some build up.

Is that lime yellow car painted the same color as the lime yellow 9-3 convertibles?

That is the color. He even added black to the inset strips to the bumpers.

That color looks a lot better in person. The pictures of the 900 make it look kind of ummm... but I bet in the sunlight it looks pretty good. Needs more spoiler.
I always thought it would make a good color for a race car.
