I saw a 79 or 80 Green 99 that looked unrestored, but in good condition. It was a notchback and was around 10am Friday before last in the international district (Seattle). I wasn't driving my 99 unfortunately.. but that makes 5 99's I've seen driving around town this year!

Man the PNW seems so cool, I barely see c900s driving around these days :-(

There was a time when 99s were even more present. A daily sighting of a (or more) C900 is a given. 95 and 96 are becoming a rarity but I've seen both (including a new 96 I had not seen before) in the past week. The 96 was parked off the street near KOMO/Fisher Plaza and had WA state collectors plates. The 95 was at Ballard market. I did see a really nice restored 93 a couple of years ago puttin' around crown hill. That was really cool.

99's colors I've seen (outside of Dan Morley's herd):

red 4 door
blue 2 door (in addition to Duncan's 2 door)
yellow 4 door
yellow 2 door
green 2 door
orange 2 door (parked near KEXP's old location)

Hah, just saw a Black 99T (79?) with Euro indicators and headlamps heading east on I-90 near Bellevue!

OK .. this is getting weird... I just saw yet another 99 I'd never seen around town today. A 1980 brown/tan notchback with EMS striping. Either way, its pretty cool to see so many on the road after a few years ago them being fairly sparse.

Too cool!

I did get a thumbs up from a guy in a c900 vert the other day but its still somewhat rare to see classics in the wild these days :bawl:

Wow! Haven't seen a 99 in the wild (other than in a junk yard or my own) since a trip to Seattle in the summer of 96. During that vacation, I counted 11 99s including a few turbos and a cardinal red EMS notch back. Even saw a white 2 stroke 96 on Lake Washington Blvd, and an orange Sonett III near my uncles place in Gig Harbor. Here in Texas, I'm lucky to see a C900 once a year in the seventh largest city in the US :-( It just makes mine that much more special I guess. :/
