In-Car from AER Palmer

Here is a fairly exciting clip of us up against some big hitters. The newer-looking red BMW (shows up a little later) is an e90 M3 driven by some pretty pro drivers (Randy Probst). It is one of the cars sponsored by Road & Track. The Yellow/Blue E46 car is Turner Motorsports car also driven by some pro drivers. We certainly weren't the fastest at the track , but we threw the 30 year-old FWD girl around pretty well.

Nice! That's some pretty impressive elevation change - it looks like you're doing a hillclimb every lap there!

Absolutely!
The telemetry says it's about 200ft of elevation change per lap :)

That's an amazing looking track and some great vid!
Was that an event or just a lapping session. It sure looked like a lot of active passing going on!

That was the second driver stint of a 9 hour session for the day (four drivers) , day one of two! Everyone definitely races hard.

The car sounds great, Kip is driving great, and the new track looks great too! I remember when they were first trying to get that new track started in the '90s!

The town still gives them trouble, so progress is slow on added track-side amenities, but it is definitely one of my favorites. Extremely technical and complex.

planning on lemons at Thompson? a few of us circle track guys are going for our first event. i'm literally caging our e36 as I write this.
I know, I sold out. but we wanted to use a rwd car.
