Old Saab rally guy here; found this site after talking with Luke and wondering what he was up to. I know Rallyho and Geoff and SeanT and likely a few others.
Not doing much rally these days, but its fun to see what you guys are doing.

Re: Hi there
Hey Tom,
The car is still going. I've yet to open the engine after owning it for over 10 years (with the exception of changing the cam). The bolt-in portion of the cage puts it in somewhat of grey area so I haven't run any stage rallies in it for a while but I've been rallycrossing it and doing some co-driving.

Hey Tom- Couple of Saabs managed to finish Maine Summer without leaving too many parts in the dirt.

Re: Hi there
Geoff,
I'm glad you've kept the old beast going. I'm surprised you haven't had to do a cam chain yet.
Mike,
I heard Maine was a bit rough. I would've enjoyed Ted's party for sure.

Re: Hi there
It was rough, but not anything unexpected. Decent test outing for the new car. It got beat up, but finished both regionals. I'm gonna take that as a good sign.

Re: Hi there
I haven't really ever had any chain issues with B engines. But there is a funny ticking noise that I can't seem to find. Its similar to a ticking noise in an engine that I got from Mike. The compression is pretty low so I'm starting to put together another engine.
