a buddy of mine did them for me.....
Here's the process for the badges---- I first soaked them in mineral spirits and then nylon brushed them to remove old grime, grease and double sided tape. Then a good cleaning with Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream. Then another soaking with mineral spirits to get the Blue Magic off the badges. Then prepped the badges for painting, for the "EMS" and "2.0" , I used a micromask liquid to cover the natural silver part. For the red EMS, I used a Rust-Oleum light grey primer, followed by 2 coats of gloss red Rust-Oleum paint. Let dry and then use an exacto knife to remove the micromask. Then "trim" and scrape any paint that bled onto the silver part of the badges. For the black 2.0 badge, a couple of coats of Krylon semi-flat black enamel were used, followed by removing the micromask. For the "99" badges, I had to paint the whole badge semi-flat black and then use a paper towel soaked in mineral spirits to wipe away the paint from the raised outer-edge of the numbers. Just wipe over the top of the badge to make sure you don't mar the paint on the recessed part where it is supposed to be black.
