Your 73 2.0 litre motor is a "B " motor. Front and rear oil seals are the same up to 93 and newer. I really suspect you find gaskets from Eeuroparts .com or FCP. I would worry more about finding water pumps or parts thereof. I think that is the scarce stuff . I am not sure about timing chains and tensioners and chain guides. I am sure someone else will chime in here on this site. I personally have no " B " or "H " motors left in my fleet.

I believe people like drew were making ones for scarce parts like the water pump out of seal paper stock.
As for the rest of it, Parts for Saabs used to special order things in and Elring used to make the headgasket (pn 520.586) so they can likely get you anything you need. I would phone and ask. Their shipping prices are cheap, so don't let the fact that they are in the UK turn you off.
I assume EEURO may be able to do the same if you ask, they checked on a couple pistons for me, but they were NLA and someone just had stock left over that they were selling.
Edit: Birdiemango also mentioned he uses Payen Bc650 in his rally cars and they work out fine and are cheap. With a quick google search, they are still available.

Also: Looks like this place has a lot of stuff, never bought from them though... They look like they have a conversion kit, which is usually everything you need gasket wise to rebuild a part of an engine, ie head, block etc. It doesn't list WHAT it is for, so you may need to call.
FYI you are looking for B20 parts

rockauto.com for head gasket kits etc. You have a B engine. Eeuro can probably get stuff but they don't stock items for 8-valve saab motors.
Most NLA metal flange engine gaskets call for replacement using loctite 518.

Jeez, for that price you can't really go wrong.
I got wheel bearings from a NAPA about 2 years ago, they seemed to be a fairly common part. Can't remember now if I bought a front or a rear though, one was NLA the other wasn't. Forgot which was which.

If you end up getting that and it seems good, let us know. I will pick one up for my 99.
