I'm running some aftermarket pipes that Jak Stoll supposedly made. They are actually aluminized steel, so I was able to mig weld it.
If I recall correctly the IAT sensor is fine thread. 8mm x 1.25 pitch rather than 1.5 mm thread pitch.

Correct 10mm 1.25 pitch. Had to get a bolt to plug my pre intercooler temp location so I could run before the new sensor arrived. Eeuro purchase of course. FYI 9000t 91-95 has the amp junior timer connector and the 10mm thread.
Don't need a preintercooler temp for engine management, but more about the efficiency of the intercooler and measuring the delta T (temperature)

I have mine in front of the TB, had some Intercooler pipes welded up (didn't like the silicone, pipe, silicone, pipe etc. look) On other T5 900's I've seen it's usually located around there.
My ride: MY91 Saab 900 Aero T5.5 Converted, 9000 Aero interior, Xenon projectors and many more mods/upgrades
