Re: og900 4spd gearbox ???'s
I just picked up a G44502 from a 79 900-T today with the help of Gary, most likely I'll be using the components from this to repair my again busted Jorgen Eriksson trans. Found some pics from the 1st time.-

This time, the front chain busted (just one), and asside from a somewhat odd noise, I didn't know what the hell was wrong with it till I had driven a few thousand miles, turned the busted chain into liquid metal, and other shifting related stuff started not working right.
Possibly the 2nd failure was my fault. I stupidly didn't replace the front chains when I fixed it, and everything was working fine, till apparently a chain that must have suffered fatigue due to trash rolling around there during the 1st failure let go.
