Silly question, but I was having trouble figuring it out from my service manual.
Specifically is the intake cam lift enough to collide the valve with the top of the piston?
Are B20 engines interference engines?

I recall they are not. Now they are if the valve keeper fails.

Yeah, pretty sure when my lifter exploded it bent the #1 intake valve, but realized I didn't actually know the answer to that question.

The 8v engines with stock pistons and stock cams are not interference engines. The 16v's are.
